FTP Instructions The purpose of this page is to provide instructions to let you send me files or download files that I have parked on my ftp site. ftp://wswett.com is my File Transfer Protocol (FTP) site. It requires no password or user name as it is set up as an anonymous site. My FTP site is usually empty unless it contains files I made available for someone to download or files from someone else that I have yet to download from the site. Therefore, when you send files to me notify me, and I'll do the same for you. Assuming you're using IE when you click on the above link you'll see a screen that looks like an Explorer layout. Go to View and select Explorer bars and the folder option. This will bring up a left pane and you will then be able to drag and drop files just like you do normally in Explorer - up or down! Alternatively, you can right click on the file you want to download and follow the bouncing ball. Incidentally, the incoming folder is for uploads and the pub folder is for downloads. If you happen to be using Netscape - it's not quite as easy but I'm sure you'll figure it out! Happy FTP'ing. The Old Biker
