Motorcycle
Stuff I first started riding
motorcycles about 1949. I learned on Harleys and rode them for quite a few years. Back in
those days Harley riders divided into dressers and choppers and the battle between the two
camps was as bad as the current battle between any kind of a Harley and anything else.
Over the years I've ridden a variety of brands and I can honestly say I've never met a
two-wheeler I didn't like - some more than others, admittedly. Several years ago my nephew, Bruce, convinced my dear wife, Virginia, that motorcycles were no more dangerous than jumping horses which is her sport and as a result I acquired a 1979 Honda Goldwing which Bruce found in Salt Lake. Since then I've been making up for lost time - Virginia hates motorcycles so for thirty years my riding was sporadic. I must admit that I enjoy fairings, windshields, and luggage space at my advanced age. Bugs in the teeth don't do a thing for me anymore. Anyway, if any of you visiting this page are contemplating a trip to my part of the country (Idaho) send me mail and I'll let you know my favorite rides in the intermountain west and help you in any way I can. Finally, in my travels around the internet about the best set of links to pages for bikers is Ronnie Cramer's MOTORCYCLE WEB INDEX. Try it - you'll like it! And one last word - I want to give a plug to my favorite shop 330 Cliff St. Idaho Falls, Id These folks are a Honda dealer and they are a super good bunch - If you're ever in town stop by and say Hi. (Bruce and Patrick - don't brag on Harleys - it upsets Michael!)
